USCIS Announces Process for DACA Renewal

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced today the process for DACA renewal.  A new version of the DACA form has been issued and USCIS encouraged requestors to submit their renewal request approximately 120 days (four months) before their current period of deferred action expires.  Please call our office at your earliest convenience to set up an appointment for DACA renewal.

Commentary by Rafael Figueroa, Esq.: As the expiration of the current DACA period is approaching, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) recently released an update announcement on the DACA renewal process that will be starting in the coming months.  Please note that USCIS mentioned that a new dual-use Form I-821D will be released in late May 2014 and that a DACA renewal request package may be submitted approximately 120 days before the current period of DACA expires.
